The crowd was filled with excitement as Ontario Mills Mall produced a fantastic event showcasing the latest in trends and current fashion all available for purchase in their mall. With the addition of a new Last Call by Neiman Marcus, an updated Nordstrom Rack, and an incredible new sign signifying Ontario Mills as the new Fashion District of the Inland Empire, the timing was so right to put on a great event in celebration of the new renovations done to update the shopping center.

Hosted by Giuliana Racic, E! News Co-host and reality star, and sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of Ontario, this event was poised at the height of LA fashion week and had all the appeal to bring out todays fashion into the public eye. Giuliana Racic, recently diagnosed with breast cancer and in remission since having surgery within the year has become a huge advocate for the cause and was sure to promote to the crowd what a blessing it is to have the support of the public for Breast Cancer research and treatment. The fashion show was held as a promotion for the brands and stores in the Ontario Mills mall as well as in support of breast cancer, since October is the month highlighting the cause.

Hey guys! I recently joined forces with Style Owner to curate a cute shop. It’s just launched and we’ve filled it with super cute items for summer. We have a wide range of brands and items offered, including: Ray-Ban, House of Harlow 1960, Bobbi Brown, Alternative Apparel, Chloe, Juicy Couture, Milly, French Connection, Splendid, Blaque Label, and many more! I’ve varied the brands and prices so that there’s something for everyone – including you! Many of the brands have discounted items you can only find in our shop – so get ‘em while they’re hot! Here’s a couple of my favorite pieces in shop now:

Elbow Patch Sweater in Flax
$141.00 USD
Daftbird

This is something I would totally recommend for those late night beach walks and bonfires that always seem to fill my summers. Living in Southern California it’s not always your first option to “throw a sweater on” for summer time, but if you’re going to spend the evening outdoors, it’s not a bad idea. And it’s certainly a cute one in this case!

1X1 Tank in Many Colors
$38.00 USD
Splendid

Basic white tank – Every woman needs one. And not just in white, I suggest having black, grey, and navy as well. Adding in some bits of color are a great idea too! My personal favorites to add would be red, hot pink, and turquoise. Good thing Splendid has them all!

Lacy Layers String Tie Bikini Bottom
$28.99 USD (was $58!)
Juicy Couture

I’m a fan of both one piece and two piece swimwear. Personally, I only like wearing bikinis and this is the one I’m really in love with this season! Ruffles on top are a fun style to play with! (hint: wearing ruffled tops creates the illusion of a larger breast size) Pairing a frilly top with basic bottoms are a sure way to balance out an outfit.

Lace Tank Top
$34.00 USD (was $85!)
7 for all mankind

Now this is the kind of bargain I’m talking about! 7 for all Mankind has partnered with us to slash prices to give you high end apparel at affordable price points.

Surrender Tank in Leopard
$94.00 USD
One Teaspoon

Rawr! My favorite print in the entire world is animal print! This little leopard tank top is sure to bring out a new side of you! The cut is modest yet sexy because it still shows off your skin without having a plunging neckline.

Eloquent Woman Magazine Summer 2012
- Cover shot by Kate Heimann (me!) -

Issue # 2 of Eloquent Woman Magazine has been published! :) I am so excited to showcase my photography and styling in our FREE ONLINE MAGAZINE! Not only was I able to coordinate and style both inside fashion spreads, but I also had the honor of shooting our cover with the ever gorgeous Elaine Hayhurst! Inside you will find compelling articles like how one woman shaved her head in hopes of finding her true beauty by “Getting Rid of her Beauty Crutch”, and how Amanda Joss shifted her dream from being a musician to working with a non profit from the ground up to stop local sex trafficking in the article “Why I Laid Down My Music” , and of course pages and pages of fashion! Be sure to check out my personal favorite piece I was able to shoot and style: “How To Work the White Blouse”. In the white blouse piece I decided to focus on how to use the basics that every woman should own and how it can be so versatile. Being one of the foundations of my personal wardrobe, I decided to style multiple styles of this basic – v-neck tee’s CAN be professional if styled right, tissue sweaters are perfect for any weather, and of course the trending lace tank styled for work wear. I hope you all will enjoy our second issue in which I was able to lead as the Fashion Editor, lead photographer, and main stylist because I certainly had tons of fun creating with our amazing Eloquent Woman team! :)

Editor in Chief, Shannon Lee, & myself in studio working on “Working the White Blouse” in LA.

Isn’t this Forever 21 ad fun? I love the pink and blonde hair too….reminds me of me. Ha! I really just loved this short video because it’s so well edited that you can see multiple outfits in such a short amount of time. I think my favorite look she showcased was the black dress with the gold collar necklace – super trendy, yet classy. What about you?
